After seeing various version of articulated hand over the internet, I’ve decided to design my own 3D printed version. I wanted my version to have some adjustability in fitting with some mechanism that can be printed as assembled without printed support. So far I’ve only managed to design the articulation joints to fold about 65 degrees, but perhaps in the future I could design something better. The frontal finger claw can be detachable with different claw designs which I could design more in the future. For different sizes, people would have to experiment with scaling the models to fit their hands, you would have to experiment. It does take lots of time to print, but I guess it’s worthwhile to explore and study what could be done with 3D printing. Print tested samples with 0.2mm nozzle. I hope you enjoy making this. Imagination makes everything.
