WALZA idea came from my sister Mable. Since I was making all this things with 3D printer, my sister just said “Maybe you can make a wallet”, and so it came to be a challenge. Concept of WALZA was to have it open and close like as if you are playing cards. Also I wanted it to be easy assemble with add and remove function, able to add and remove multiple slits as needed. It was tough getting it to be how it is now because precision to dimension is not in favor with filament based 3D printing. From this project I realized every color or maker of filament, different heat levels, or even type of machines will have effect on how the parts will behave to assemble and function. Printed and sample tested with 0.2mm nozzle. Some printing experiment may be needed, depending on the machine, filament type, and heat settings. With all this said, I hope it’s worth exploring and hope you enjoy the product.
